Sehore is 37 km away from the state capital of Bhopal towards south-west and on Bhopal-Indore highway , Chintaman ganesh temple is situated in sehore .The temple has a great importance and it is said that it is 2000 years old .There are four idles of Chintamani Siddha ganesh temples in India , one of which is in Sehore . A lot of devotees come here all over the year , specially in Ganesh Chaturthi .
History of the Temple 
It is said that the temple is approximately 2000 years old. It dates back to Vikramaditya of Ujjain and renovated by BajiRao I the Maratha Peshwa. There are four idles of chintamani Ganesh temple , one of them is in Rathambore( Rajasthan),second in Avantika , third in siddhapur(Gujrat) and the fourth in Sehore .
Ladoo And Modak 
It is said that Lord Ganesha likes,Sweets very much . And his favourite being Modak ,he always liked it .People to impress him now also when bow in front of him,gives Modak and ladoo in form of prasad .In front of the Chintaman Ganesh Temple are shops of sweet vendors where one could buy sweets and offer Lord Ganesha.

When you are in the rope way the view is really great reaching there . The Rope way System is Really good for the Elderly people. The Rope way glides by the pond,through the forest area to the hill top giving a panoramic view of the surroundings .

Bijasan mata mandir Salkanpur Temple is a sacred shrine and devoted to the nine forms of the Devi – Nava Durga. Mela is held here during Navaratri. One of the most famous festivals in India is Navratri which is observed twice in a year. Navratri festival is dedicated to Goddess Durga, Laxmi and Saraswati. During Navaratri a mela is also held here.  Many vacationers came here during Navaratri mela.
